Great boat, crew, and itinerary. Food is just ok. The chef needs to get creative.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Very smooth and easy. Davenport Hotel is very nice. Pre-cruise breakfast was poor.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Food was adequate but boring. It needs creativity.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
No real activities except the lounge entertainment and a few talks about the river history.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Musicians were good and very versatile.
Children's Programs
No children were on the boat.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Excellent staff. Very friendly, attentive, and enthusiastic.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
It was a paddlewheel boat. It was spotless and in excellent condition.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
My room and bathroom were spotless. Just about the right size although the walls were paper thin and the bathroom shower was quite small. I wished the TV was bigger.
Ship tip
Very nice boat and crew but don't expect great food.
Took the Mt. St. Helens tour on the last day. Some confusion as to whether they would drop us off at the airport after the tour. Turns out they would only drop off at the hotel, so we had to take an Uber to the airport.
