Two days spent here was an absolute waste of time. Not much to see and the city is smoggy and filthy. We went to a shopping mall!!!!

The portnin Jakarta is industrial area, so Not Pretty. But once you get out of the area ..Beautiful City. I enjoyed the Miniature City excursion! Very nice & Knowledgeable guide. It's like a theme park of different Shrines throught the country but in one place. Loved it! We did the night Food tour, the guides were a little disorganized in the beginning. And street food area wasn't as nice as Bangkok. However, we later went to a rooftop hotel/ bar for dinner, music & dancing! The city at night is Gorgeous!

extremely busy city. Traffic was horrific to get out of the port. Give yourself plenty of time to get back to port. The city was very interesting. Food was great.

After Singapore, hard to be positive about Jakarta. We did the included tours and had a fine time both days. Would have much rather had 2 days in Singapore than the 2 we had in Jakarta.

I had already planned to stay on ship as there seemed very little to go into city for. When passengers returned we heard only bad stories of rip off taxis, horrendous traffic into city and ship excursions that were a complete waste of time and money. A long line at Guest Services with complaining passengers.
