We did the hop on/hop off bus trip and it was good value for money. Beautiful beaches and great views, with stops to allow you to take photographs.

Did our own tour, first a walking tour self guided from Lonely planet book. Booked hop on hop off bus tour from port office rather than from the ship

Travel to FOL lookout for a great view. Visit the church of La Conception. Then stop Promenade Vernier. Wander the shops in the Palm Beach Gallery.

We did a city sights, aquarium and beach tour. Was good fun. Aquarium is skippable, the snorkeling at Lemon Bay afterwards had plenty of fish life to get up close to. Lunch was provided, was fresh and easy, and we had time to wander around a bit and do our own thing.

Visited the city which is clean. If you go to the passenger terminal in the heart of the city, you can easily find some really good tours if you haven't got anything already planned while here. The hop on-hop off bus was $10 Australian, for example.

Went snorkeling at the reef/lagoon. This was the best stop and the snorkeling was good.
