My favorite port by far. Too many reasons to say why. It just struck a chord with me.

Didn’t take bus to Yejele Beach. We stayed near the pier where the tenders docked and swam in the rock pool bays close by - was great fun!

Yejele Beach is amazing. Get in early to hire beach lounges for the day. $ range from $5us upwards. Food cooked over woodfires and tastes amazing. Hairbraiding is done really well here too. Toilets available and very well maintained.

I'm afraid I would have to give a one star for this place. We were walked onshore, we walked left up the road where there is supposed to be a beautiful spot for snorkelling. We were turned back by the locals informing us that's it's not open to the tourists. We were very disappointed. No explanation was given to why it was closed. We were directed to the other side, buses were waiting to take tourists to the beach. I would have taken the bus but the locals had signs up charging AU$38. I thought that was exhortate. Only to find out later in the evening that it was actually AU$15 return. Also I found while a was walking around the stalls that there was alot of broken glass & litter along the roads. Many disappoints on Mare Isle.

Took the $15USA excursion onboard, sends the way option. Not much to do but go to the beach, water was stunning. Random bit of information but toilets had better toilet paper then the ship.

Highlight of our cruise. Perfect beach, perfect climate, and the abundance of tropical fish on the reef is amazing. Only thing that was tough was the current due to cross winds on the day but helped work off some of the cocktails!

Really enjoyed this port....beach day! The surf was churned up a bit so had to watch out for the blue bottle jellyfish.

We took the ship shuttle to Yegele Beach. Nice beach but not much else on the island.
