Tendered, beautiful water, but smaller than Moorea. Less to do. Diving was not good, just snorkel. Lots of history.

Stayed two days. Did resort for a day that was fantastic and relaxing and then did a snorkel tour where we swam with sharks. That ended up being our favorite excursion.

Although the beauty of Bora Bora is legendary, a serious downpour began soon after we arrived. We shared a van ride around the island with two other people and had both a driver and a guide for the four of us. We saw lots of wind-bent palm trees and stopped at the original Bloody Mary's Restaurant, just to look around. We went back to the ship and ordered Bloody Marys at the bar. Even if it hadn't been raining, it became clear that one island with a volcano looks about like the others.

Again, a beautiful island. We opted not to take an excursion because it was too hot and humid, but we did enjoy time in the village.

Bora Bora did not fail our expectation that it is the most beautiful island on the planet. Thank God for such a beautiful natural place, and thank the Americal people for the good job done to maintain its natural beauty.

Bora Bora was beautiful. We did the Le Truck tour of the island. Definitely would not recommend at all. Wish we had opted for one of the small air conditioned vans we saw at the port after we got off the one we were on. We did an outrigger lagoon tour and swam with stingrays and sharks, well hubby swam with them while I was the photographer. The waters and resorts around the island were amazing. The people are wonderful. The land portion of the island was typical of any other small island we have visited. While Bora Bora was very nice it wasn't what we expected it to be. I guess if you were staying at one of the high end resorts the experience would be different but we enjoyed our visit to the fullest all the same.

This is the only port where we had booked an excursion, and we're glad we did. Everybody said you should stay on the water to appreciate the island, but wow - the views from up the mountains are to die for!

Best stop on the entire cruise. Excursion around the atoll by boat. We were able to swim in the beautiful blue water. Fantastic place!
