Way too short of time due to long ordeal to tender. A lot of traffic, so to be cautious you can't get too far away in the limited time you have.

Kuta was dirty and rubbish stacked on the beach. NOT a good excursion but glad to say only 4 hours there

Bali was beautiful and we enjoyed it greatly. But we disembarked and stayed on the Island for 3 more nights at our own hotel that we chose. If you do not stay over you will see nothing of Bali. You arrive at 6pm , it is dark and then you fly home the next morning if you havent booked to stay at a hotel. So definitely book your own accomodations and private tours and stay a few days in Bali

A big disappointment. Stuck in traffic for hours. Not at all as I remembered it from years ago. I suppose. lot of popular places are now overrun with tourists.

We did the extension! This is a must! Either thru Viking or extend your stay on your own or you are being cheated on not enjoying Bali. The Luxury lagoon hotel WAS BEAUTIFUL AND FANTASTIC!! The almost 8 hr city tour prior to getting there from ship was exhausting. We did make stops to Shrines & other sites and we had a Nice lunch. But again the heat and legroom on bus made it trying. Bit once we got to hotel & was greeted with Cool towels, drinks & staff..I forgot all the above! Our rooms were Luxury & beautiful! We also booked tour on WithLocals App . We toured the city, Food tour, Bali swing, coffee farm, shopping & are galleries. Transport to aurport was good only 25=30 minutes away.

Paid for the traditional fire dance evening show at the bird park. It was okay, and maybe not worth the cost. We did a post stay in Bali -- highly recommend. The resort was 5-star and the included excursion was very good.

We visited Bali on our own. The people of Bali are wonderful. We were actually invited into a private residence on Bali. Bali is a mix of ancient residences and store, as well as modern condos and shopping centers. We intend to visit Bali for a week or two in the near future. We made friends there who are willing to show us around the island. Bali was the best spot.

Great place to easily get the feel for local / Indonesian culture, as long as you avoid the 'tourist spots'. Travelled around with some crew and experienced street food and local 'villages'.
