We took a ship excursion to featherdale wildlife park where we spent an hour then went and spent the rest of the day at the blue mountains national park. Overall a good day before they dropped us off in downtown Sydney.

We spent a few days in Sydney and lucky for us our hotel was located across the street from the port. We literally walked our luggage to and from the port. Prior to our cruise we took an excursion to the Blue Mountain with "the Happy Coach", we toured the Botanic Gardens, we took a Ferry to Manly Beach, we took another Ferry to Toranga Zoo, we took a bus to Bondi Beach and we took the train to downtown Sydney.

So much to see and do within a very short distance of the cruise terminal. Don’t bother booking anything. Just walk around to the Opera hours, cross the bay on a ferry for less than $5. Go to Manley beach or the Taronga Zoo. Eat sea food by the bay. If you need a place to stay, pre or post cruise, you can’t go past Rendezvous Hotel or Old Sydney Inn. They aren’t five star, but they are within walking distance of the Cruise port and major transportation.

Cruise over! We took a cab to our hotel in the CBD. Loved this city! We again took free walking tours which were wonderful. Took the ferry to Manly Beach which was a wonderful beach town. Visited the Rocks area. We took the bus to Bondi Beach as well and did the Coastal Walk - so beautiful! Went to the Sydney Museum. Had dinner at China Doll on Wooloomooloo Wharf-delicious!

Beautiful Sydney, the harbour is stunning to explore. Catch a ferry to Manly, go to the Zoo. Enjoy a 5 star restaurant experience, Sydney's restaurant scene is A1!
