Use local currency & buy from the markets. Take reef shoes & snorkel if you can, either take your own or you can hire.

My favourite port - beautiful, tropical island with clear seas, great snorkeling, and it is so small you can walk around the whole island. Make sure you are around when the plane lands and takes off from the airstrip in the middle of the island - you can literally stand right beside the runway!

Bluebottle jellyfish were abundant and very painful on one side of the island. Avoid them but if you are stung by their long hairlike tentacles go straight to ship staff for treatment (vinegar).

We absolutely loved Mystery Island and enjoyed the glass bottom kayak and snorkeling. We also visited the markets and explored the island ourselves.
