Mystery Island is such a jewel in the pacific... It is a great place to snorkel and the turtles are so majestic... The makets were great to walk through and talk to the locals... My boys had their photo in the "Mystery Island Cannibal Soup Pot" which was fantastic. The guys, dressed in traditional outfits really made the shots by playing up to the camera... Also the tender boat rides were also quite fun and you get to meet others from the boat... All round amazing day...

Sun sand and snorkelling, what more could you want plenty of colorful fish, great market and for such a tiny island so much to do.The people are friendly and don'forget to take your passport ashore to get stamped.

We shopped at the markets and had a swim and went snorkeling (we took our own snorkels). Beautiful little island.

This place was beautiful, there are many private tours on offer on the island, we had booked a tour of a nearby village though P&O which was great it really was fantastic seeing how the community live, they were so vet welcoming and informative, they had cooked a small traditional treat for us. We then travelled on a small vessel back to Mystery Island where we went snorkelling (using some full face snorkel masks I purchased before the trip) that was the most amazing experience, my first ever time snorkelling mainly because I struggled I the past with the masks (not any more) the small reef there was great although only a small island we did get to see a small plane land as the island was originally used as a landing strip. There was a large cooking pot photo opportunity available for about $5 you pay the locals who pose for the photos and you take the photos... It was great well worth the money.... My daughter had a lot of fun with the locals...especially when they handed their spear prop to her and told her to pretend she was threatening them... It was so funny. But what a beautiful place, I did see some little tents set up where you could get one of the locals to give you a massage for a low fee... A lot cheaper than a massage on the ship I guarantee. Beautiful place I would definitely be back.

Swam in the most beautiful blue sea and clear water, it was the high light of the trip.

Tendering from Ovation was fast and problem free. New wharf is excellent. Fun time at the market stalls to buy a few souvenirs for the kiddies back home. Then spent hours swimming and relaxing around the islands beaches in the clean clear waters. Returned to the ship in the afternoon for late lunch from Windjammer and was able to film a small plane circle the ship then land on the Island.

Beautiful little island but way too small for 2600 passengers to be visiting.
