Love love love Milford Sounds. Captain said we would arrive early so I kept looking outside balcony window. When we did arrive I had goose bumps and was struck by awe and wonder with the beauty of this natural landscape. The fjords and waterfalls were absolutely stunning. This is a must see destination if you go to New Zealand. Captain Henrik took us right into Milford sounds and undertook a 360 degrees turn around so we could all see every side of the fjords. All you could hear was the sounds Of The waterfalls. It was amazing.

Great commentary from the retired park ranger who spoke for most of the sound without any notes. It rains for 200 days down here and it’s very lush.

Cruising Milford Sound was amazing. It was raining & semi foggy & there was dozens of waterfalls coming down from the tops of the mountains which were veiled in mist. If it had not rained the waterfalls would not have been there so it was an added bonus
