Harbor cruise was curtailed because of low tide (which should have been predictable), and promised bus tour didn't show up at all. It's a pleasant, but bland, city but be prepared for 108-degree temperatures with high humidity.

The excursion I booked got cancelled and not much left to pick from, so wandered around on our own. It was ok.

Darwin is the capital of the Northern Territory and a major Australian port in the tropics. Lots to see and do, but unfortunately we were only docked here for a short time. If you have never visited, I’d recommend to book a tour and guide.

WENT TO TERRITORY PARK IT WAS GREAT INSPITE OF HOLLAND AMERICAS POORLY RUN EXCURSIONS (I WOULD HAVE FIRED ATLEAST 4 OF THE 5 EXCURSION WORKERS AS THEY EXCUSED EVERYTHIN AND COULD NOT ANSWER SIMPLE QUESTIONS AND WERE COMBATIVE AND RUDE
