Auckland also being a big City is what it is. The Hop On Hop Off Bus is worth the effort and money.. Many interesting attractions that u visit and then move on to the next one. A good service and regular as clockwork.

The Sky Tower is a short walk from the ship. Do it. Also, take a water taxi to Waiheke island to visit wineries and beaches.

This was where we embarked so everything we saw was on our own dime and time before the cruise. But I am absolutely in love with New Zealand.

We went to Auckland Zoo and NZ’s Sky tower. It was a great day and we learned that the kiwis bird are nocturnal because for a few days we had come all the way from Oz I was getting worried I wasn’t going to see a kiwi bird.
