This port required that we anchor out in the harbor and tender into the pier. The main street was interesting with lots to see and do. Some attractions off the main street as well, like the Giant House. Very scenic in the hills surrounding the harbor area.

Beautiful little town. It was Christmas Day but a lot of the shops were open. They had some pretty little gift/souvenir shops. We did Sea Kayaking with Akaroa Sea Kayaking Safaris. An excellent trip with 2 really experienced and informative guides.
