This Port was reaches by a Catamaran from the ship. There is a manmade Lagoon area in which you can swim in and the main street has lots of shops, restaurants and pubs. There was a market with several stalls. All the tours were booked out so we didn't go on one. Apart from the main shopping area and Lagoon there was too much else to do unless you were doing a Tour.

Went to the Blue Lagoon pool and soaked up in the sun in the water. Loved Airlie Beach. It reminded me of Torquay with the surf and shops. Lots of shops, restaurants, bars etc... would love to come back here.

Really amazing town !! We didn't take a tour , just walked around. Great little market , wonderful pubs and coffee shops and great little restaurants!! The lagoon is awesome!!!!

PSA: The Airlie Lagoon is just a big pool! Went there today and it was nice but it underwhelming and definitely not a lagoon. The shops were ok and the food was great. I highly recommend one of the restaurants at the boathouse which is near the tender port.

Really good little stop over Great tender ride ashore and then we really enjoyed the walk along the boardwalk into the town to the markets Got a cold drink and sat on the grass taking in the views looking out to sea in the shade

It's beautiful here lots to do heaps of water sports even the helicopter rides a must Whitehaven Beach very beautiful . It's even nice to walk around there beautiful little town .
