Spent two days there, people were very friendly. No English spoken by locals which was a good thing for us to try to work our way around the city.

Docking is in very industrial/commercial port area--cannot walk anywhere, but Cruise Terminal is very new and nice. Excursions included one on a city tour and another was to a Gaucho performance at an estancia--excellent. BBQ, Gauchos, horse riding were outstanding.

Beautiful city--it truly is the Paris of South America--ship was several hours late arriving and lost a full day of sight-seeing.

Highly recommend the Iguazu Falls excursion. A bit pricey but a highlight of the cruise. Fly 900 miles to Iquazu, bus to the park/falls. Lunch at a buffet followed by a couple miles of walkways around the falls. Spectacular. Breathtaking. Dinner at the park, bus to the airport, flight back to Buenos Aires. Got to the hotel about 11 PM. Fantastic day.
