The port city itself is not great. But the excursion was excellent. Just have reasonable expectations of seeing wildlife in Costa Rica. It is not like vising a zoo where the animals are all crammed together. It's sparse as is the case in wild areas. Loved the sloths!

The rainforest tour with the gondola, boat and walking was absolutely beautiful we saw the most amazing plants, trees, birds and animals. Very informative.

we went white river rafting-what an amazing adventure & the most fun-the guides were great & you get to see lots of sites-we even stopped for a fresh picked banana on the way back
