Took a tour of the Rainforest, a butterly garden exhibit, snakes, and bugs exhibit. The aerial tram was terrrific for viewing sloths handing in the trees. The naturalists guides are knowledgeable and informative of the natural habitat in this region.

A great learning experience! Visited a farm where coffee, bananas, pineapples and cocoa beans were grown.

Costa Rica lived up to it true name Rain forest area and all tours were cancelled because of it but--the ship activities added made up for the rain day.

The people were not friendly and didn’t want anything to do with Americans. They refused to sell any merchandise unless we had there currency. They did not want any American money. So we went back to the ship

We bought a tour from someone at the port (not through the ship) but it did the same thing as the ship tour did. The Carnival organized tour was $89 per person or so and we paid $35 for 5 adults and kids were free and it was ok, but we didn't see much wildlife on the river cruise. Overall it was average. We would love to have done the zip line and canopy tour but we had seniors and small children.

one of the top 3 places visited .With good and bad thru trip . Had a great experience on Ship sponsored rafting trip ,Guide was one of the best guides I ever experienced (charming , experienced , helpful just a great rafting trip experience ) We enjoyed the rafting so much that we purchased photos taken by the tour company . This however turned to Major Disappointment since the photos were not linked as promised !! Very disappointed in Norwegian oversight of this contractor .
