My excursion was “Colonial Léon and Chorotega Museum”. The tour guide was good and informative. I enjoyed the tour of the church however, I was not that impressed with the tour of the museum because the curator would describe everything and then the tour guide would translate what she had said so to me it became boring.

The banana plantation had only one bathroom for both men and women and no running water there! :( Also everything had to be interpreted so there was not as much information given as the other tours, such as the coffee tour the day before. They spoke English and was easier to ask questions. The hacienda was good though it had no air conditioning and it was very hot. Also, not time to shop for souvenirs.

went to rum distillery, wasn't as good as others that we've been to before. We paid a lot of money for 2 ounces of rum...
