Once in a life time experience. Had a guy on board who talked us through the history of the locks and canal through the whole transit. 9 hours he talked for about 40 Mins of every hour. Very informative.

This is a highlight! The canal is a modern wonder of the world. The on-board expert Umberto gave great lectures about the various ports, including the history/construction of the Canal.

The whole reason for the trip. We were disappointed that no presentations were given concerning the Panama Canal construction or history. The narration during the transit was at best minimal and not available throughout the ship. Glad we had been before and knew what we were seeing.
