The passage through the canal was very interesting and took about 2 hours. Unfortunately it rained halfway to our destination to our exclusion which was on a small boat to sea monkeys we went out on the boat in spite of the rain and no rain gear and it was quite miserable but we did see a few monkeys.

get eady early in the morning and go to the front of the ship deck 14, or 15 fo a great view of the locks. You can use Horizon Court also, since it is in front of the ship to get a great view of the locks

Miraflores locks and Old Panama City — important to see old and new locks; visitor center very helpful with history and mechanics of operation. Also, with your you get beyond Gatun Lake and see the Pacific.

No matter how many times we have (partially) transited the canal, it continues to be amazing.
