Seeing the ship historical background theater presentation then experiencing the Canal from the ships vistas and ship narrator pointing out the details was well done.

It was interesting but got a little boring. It was a bucket list thing. It was very humid no air moving. Not sure I would do it again unless it's the only way to get to Costa Rica again. Lol

Got our moneys worth! The ferry ride through the small locks was Great! Hot! Sunscreen!! Full long day! Not much time or opportunity to see the lake, long wait to get off the ship, quick tender trip, right on the bus and away so no views of the lake. Otherwise we Loved it!

This was very cool. Carnival brought on board a narrator to give details and facts as we went through the canal. I want to go back. Next time I will read up before going.

Watching the ship go through the old canal was impressive. Rising from each lock. We booked an excursions so we can disembark at the canal to see the new locks. For $80pp they take you to the lookout for 2hours then back to ship at cristobal. Overpriced.

The Panama Canal visit was a real highlight. The ship went through the three new locks at the Caribbean end, and we took an excursion on a smaller ferry through the rest of the canal - all the way to the Pacific. Although it took much longer than expected (because of unexpected delays with canal traffic and waiting for canal pilots), it was really great!
