get eady early in the morning and go to the front of the ship deck 14, or 15 fo a great view of the locks. You can use Horizon Court also, since it is in front of the ship to get a great view of the locks

Miraflores locks and Old Panama City — important to see old and new locks; visitor center very helpful with history and mechanics of operation. Also, with your you get beyond Gatun Lake and see the Pacific.

Did a lake boat tour. Long ride to catch the boat, surprised we got lunch (was advertised as snack only). Very overpriced, but interesting. Not much time to do anything else. Also port came with serious warnings.
