After tendering into the marina, we enjoyed an excursion seeing various areas of Panama City, both old and new. There were many other excursion opportunities seeing more of the Panama Canal and Gatun Lake, which we did not have time to do.

I wasn’t all that impressed. The whole area was like visiting any big city mall in the US. If I cruise again through this port, I won’t bother getting off the ship because it’s that lame.

The History of Gold wasn’t. It was a lousy tour of the old city of Balboa, a semi-interesting tour of a replica museum and an old Spanish Cathedral and grounds. Hardly any mention of the history of Gold.

Wish we would have had more time in port to explore the city. Old town was really nice to explore.

We were here only a short time and were tendered in at night (which was spooky!!) and had time for very little except shopping.
