Nice and educating tour, especially for a first time visitor. Great to learn and see the locks (especially if you're lucky to see it in action). Visit the lake a little disappointing (maybe due the great tour in the lake in Costa Rica)

Did the railroad trip to the new lock observation tower and took the bus back....tour guide and bus driver were excellent

My husband loved the tour of the Mireflores Locks! We took a bus tour of the city and were amazed at how much infrastructure the US left Panama 🇵🇦 after giving the Canal back to them per our treaty. Everything left was utilized by the Panamanian government for schools, universities, housing and offices. It was a very interesting place to visit, and the skyline of Panama City was unexpected and unbelievable!

We visited the new locks, watched a video of its construction at the Observation Center. We were lucky to watch a ship going through the locks Nuku Hiva We took a scenic drive through Taipivai Valley and visited the Te Aitua temple. We stopped at the Hooum black beach, also. The drive was very scenic and took about three hours with stops.

We didn't have time to do much here. There was a small shopping small in the harbor and that's as far as we got due to time constraints.
