Take the ferry trip on through the Pacific-side locks. Well worth the money.

We got off and kayaked the lake! It was a wonderful experience. We saw both the old and new locks through this excursion.

Enjoyed going to the locks nice to be able to say I can check it off my bucket list. The excursion Shape of Panama was very boring and the tour guide was annoying and uninteresting also

We stayed on board for the canal and Gatun Lake and were very glad we did. The canal both ways was absolutely fascinating!

This was the one thing that I was terribly disappointed with. We went through the docks and then never moved away from them ~ all we did was turn the ship around and wait to go back through. I believe it would have been very easy to cruise the Lake a little bit and see more of it than we did.
