Great access from the pier. We did a Viator excursion to the Agua Clara locks of the Panama Canal and historic fort at San Lorenzo. Highly recommend.

Loved it. Went on an excursion with a local guide, had a great day seeing the canal entrance etc. This isn't a good stop for snobby cruisers who just look out their ocean view cabins.

Panama you cannot get off ship unless you are booked on an excursion with NCL. Be aware that in Panama the ship and excursions are at the mercy of the canal authorities and things run late, be prepared to wait. It was very interesting to see the locks, just a long day

Was stationed here in 1984, and there were rats running in the streets. The rats were still there, and it hasn't changed much. Don't take this cruise because you want to see Colon, just think of it as a place to pass through on your way to the airport.

Tour to Panama canal was good but little to do at the port itself.

The area where the ship was docked is run down and rather scary.
