Take the Tale of Two Cities Tour with tour guide, Pedro. Amazing mayan ruins of Altun Ha! Lovely people in this country.

Took the water shuttle over and walked through the shops. A the water shuttle back. Recommend a shore tour here.

Did the beach and city tour. First thing I want to say, I think Splash Tours is a new company. I think they were overwhelmed with trying too many things at one time. Very unorganized, we were told to be on one of the first tenders off the ship which would lead you to believe the tour is ready to go. Ready to wait was more like it. There were about 30 of us that were on 4 different tours taken to the same staging area where we waited for about an hour and a half. I don’t want to trash this company I believe once they get their act together they will be fine. But if you are a seasoned cruiser and are used to organized tour companies they are not for you. The guides, the workers are all very friendly and they try hard.

Never again, this port has been my least favorite. They did have nice people and cool little shops but all in it wasn’t me. It was extremely hot which was part of my problem, lol.

We were concerned about the longer tender but it was not a problem at all. We enjoyed the port area and shopped and ate there. We did the city/country excursion and enjoyed seeing Belize and learning some history of Belize and the rum factory. Our guide was very accommodating when we asked him to stop at a local grocery store.

Lumani and river boat...Awesome experience would highly reccomend had great people on the bus to excursion explaining alot about the area and had great people explaining the history of the Mayan people amd of the ruins. We were able to climb them and it had amazing views.

We did the Altun Ha ruins tour. The tour guides were very informative. The ruins are so cool. Really neat that you get to climb them.

Bus ride to Altun Ha Myan ruins, Lunch at the Black orchid and to return via boat on the river wallace was wonderful! Don't be like me and forget the sunscreen. Belize me, I was redder than a lobster!
