Belize is beautiful in some places, but there isn't much to do if you don't want to snorkel or dive. I took a tour or the island that was nice, it was not listed on the Carnival site, but it was through them and was just added. I don't remember the name of the excursion.

Visted the Duty Free area, locate the COCO company--fresh chococates and home brewed coffee. Right next door is the Belize Rum Company--buy both the light and dark rum about 12 USD a bottle when you get home you're gonna thank me!

Do not go to the port. It is dirty and we did not feel safe. Take an excersion that picks up right at ship without having to tender to the port. Starfish Cay is a great trip. They provide great service and good food and drinks.

Not much to do here either. Must book an excursion. There are no beaches near the port so do not plan on doing beach scene.

Markets are awesome. We visited Altun Ha ruins not by carnival. We weren't planning on doing any excursions and just walk around and enjoy the port. Price was 1/2 what carnival wanted and I really wanted to see the ruins! Our tour guide Quincy Jones, not the R&B tycoon, was just fabulous.

We took the Altun HA & Belize City Tour. Was very surprised at how poor some of the areas were on the bus ride to and from Altun HA and the hourly wage in comparision to the cost of living. The Tour Guide was very informative.

Unbelizable! Elvis, our tour guide is great, very knowlegeable and funny. We went to Mayan Temples ruins, even climbing one of them.

Visited the Altan Ha Mayan ruins. Great excursion. Did not like the shopping area. Felt like I was being attacked by vultures selling junk souvenirs.
