I did an excursion doing a rum factory and city tour, I did like the port, but you really have to venture out to find a nice beach.

Every shop had the exact same thing with the exact same price. There wasnt much real shopping to do here other than to get off the boat. The tender ride is also pretty long. Overall, if I stopped here again and wasnt going on an excursion, I would elect to stay on the boat.

Do not leave port except on a cruise arranged tour. Not a good stop and a good place to enjoy the uncrowded ship.
