I would not recommend buying your cruise with a 3rd party ever again, I went thru cause they had incentives that I was interested in. Well I was suppose to receive $50 credit for each person and I have never received it and when I asked on the ship they told me that I had to contact the 3rd party and that isn't working either. So go with the cruiseline all the incentives are false.
Embarkation

we arrived at the cruise terminal at 2:40 and we were given no assistance and our group consisted of 2 70 year olds and one 51 year old and we were forced to carry on all of our luggage and bags
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
buffet was the same everyday, and the dining room experience was the normal for carnival, not anything spectacular-also I don't like how they do a show every night in the dining room.
Onboard Activities

Entertainment

enjoyed as always the comedians on carnival
Service and Staff

they work hard for the cruise lines cant complain about the service.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
clean yes but old, old.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
the ladder to get to the top bunk is ridiculous- the steps are 18 inches apart and they are a curved ladder in the step area-try to use the ladder at 51 I had to use my shoes every time to go up and down. I will never pay for a extended balcony again the picture shows that a lounge chair would fit, but instead we only had 2 balcony chairs don't see what the big deal was. The room did provide enough storage space for 3 ladies so that was good, and the bathroom was a bit bigger than normal, it just needs to be updated so bad.
Ship tip
find the happy hour on the daily list of things to do its a great money saver and the people around were always nice to mingle with
Mexico is Mexico to me, I don't find it that thrilling, however did a salsa and salsa excursion and enjoyed the heck out of it, carnival should offer this excursion.
Sorry you had a hard time. Been on the Carnival Miracle 4 times, and loved it each time. Please dont give up on Carnival though. The Miracle is an old ship but has the best layout there is. It really needs an update. As a rule we arrive 1 day early in order to get to the cruise terminal early. This might help next time.
Sorry to hear you were disappointed. If you need assistance boarding, recommend at least an hour early. We enjoy the dining room shows. Everyone likes different things. Find what works, what you like and ho from there.
No it doesn't matter who you book with as long as you have your OBC on your booking we booked direct with carnival once and had OBC but as it wasn't on the booking they would not honour it so we always ensure regardless of who we book though it's in writing... Then no issue
Arriving at 2:40 is probably not the best idea if you need assistance. You should probably get their a little earlier than your assigned boarding time. I am disabled so we try to park at a lot that has a shuttle to the terminal or stay at a hotel that has it. Most of the time the driver will provide assistance if there isn't a porter available.
I Always use the same online travel agency and have never had an issue getting the credits I was promised. And the credits from the travel agency are almost always refundable at the end of the cruise if you did not use all of your credit whereas the credits from the cruise are generally not refundable.
I use .com's all the time w/ no issues and receive everything I'm promised. Some .com's require that you fill out a form for your OBC...did you follow their instructions?
All your incentives were false. I use a Travel Agent for every cruise have always gotten any available OBC from cruise line and at least $50 from the Agent. Not to mention paying less for the cruise to
