In Belize City I booked a two-tank scuba package online and not through the ship again. I saved nearly $100 doing this, and it was only one block outside the port. This was a great 8 person dive boat that took us to the Barrier Reef, which no Ship Excursion even offered.

The shark/stingray tour was ok. Not a lot of stingrays & only 2 sharks. They don't stay around long so get in water right away. The island is really cool though.

So we went to Caye Caulker Island in Belize and snorkeled with Caveman Snorkeling. It is by far the best snorkeling and best excursion I have ever done. Getting there you tender from your boat to Belize city, walk out the gates 5 minutes to your left and get on a water taxi (it’s a 45 min boat ride to Caye Caulker) and then walk about 5 minutes down the beach to Caveman Snorkeling. It’s truly unbelievable and something I will never forget. If you go tell Caveman, Alwin, and Bull hello! I promise you won’t regret it and they take great care of you!

Geoff’s Cay was one of his most amazing places I’ve ever been. So serene abc gorgeous snorkeling along with lobster tail for lunch. Sheer heaven on earth! Highly recommend.

Be very careful when selecting an excursion in this port. There is no dock and the harbor is very shallow, ships have to anchor 5 miles out to sea and you have to be tendered in. A one way trip, once you are on the tender takes a min of 30-45 minutes.
