By far one of our favorite ports! We booked the Mayan Ruins/Altun Ha River excursion. Bus ride was worth it to see the culture and local housing. Tour guide was very informative and answered lots of questions. The food before boarding the boat was just ok, I think it was rice and beans or burgers. Boat ride was amazing! Banana plantations, monkeys, beautiful birds, an alligator ashore and the breathtaking manatee zone back out at the mouth of the river. Then back to the port for a quick beer and local chocolate before tendering back to the ship.

Exiting the port is sadly discouraging with peddlers trying to get you in their car, buy their goods, braid your hair etc while I understand the money and value of tourists if frightens young children. On a better note, we planned for a non-carnival tour to do Kayaking in the Caves and it was exceptional.

Cave tubing is a must do excursion in Belize. You can also do Zip lining at the site of cave tubing as well. Amazing views of the caves make an unforgettable experience. Also if you drink try a Belkin beer when your done.

Starfish Island Getaway excursion was great. Beautiful tropical island with many things to do for all ages. We reserved it on the ship and it is only 60.00 per person. We would do this excursion again!

Tender port so you have to take a boat ride to shore. Lack of variety in excursions so we didn’t do one. We did some souvenir shopping & ate at the fruit stand. The mango was delicious.

Jungle Buggy, Cave Tubing & Zip line with lunch. What an amazing adventure, its fast paced to get everything in but so worth it. Lunch was really good also.

Was so excited to go to Belize but once we got there I was so scared ! Quite a bit of islanders approached me to get high and I was very uncomfortable and only spent 30 minutes there.
