We did the snorkel with lunch excursion. The rendezvous island was awesome. Small coral island. The snorkel is more like a guided tour. You cannot go on your own. We saw many cool fish including a very large eel, star fish, sea urchin. Part of our group went into the Belize city and said it was a dirty, pushy port. Lots of vendors constantly (more then other ports) trying to get you to buy stuff. I give 4 stars only because we didn’t deal with that. But the guides ask for tips every 5 minutes.

We were supposed to stop at their private island which we were really looking forward to but instead had to go to Belize City. We ended up taking an excursion to a private island and it was fine. Did some kayaking on the ocean and saw some cool starfish out there in the ocean while kayaking.

Having to use a tender to get from the ship to the port is always a downside, but we enjoyed the ride. Again we arranged our own diving excursion.

This port was just ok. Have to tender to the port from the ship. Took about 30mins to get to the port via boat. The port has some shops and some food spots. Not really expensive but a little high. Not too much to do at the port but shop so unless you do an excursion you’re going to be back on the ship within 2hrs.

We did cave tubing and zip excursion. We almost got left, because we stopped to get a t-shirt on our walk from bus to boat that takes you to ship. So...don't stop...hurry to boat.

One of my favorite cruise ports. I love Caye Caulker. The most beautiful and chill little island in the middle of the Caribbean. I always book it through Coral Breeze. Amazing staff, very informative and courteous. Can not wait to go again.

Husband and I chose to do a private tour for Belize. After taking the first tender off the boat, we took a taxi to the Belize Municipal airport and took Maya air to San Pedro/Ambergris Caye 9:30am flight. Arrived around 9:45am, from there, we took a boat for some off shore snorkeling. Had an amazing time! Hol Chan and shark ray alley were beautiful. Excellent snorkeling, but definitely better suited for an intermediate/advance snorkeler. After snorkeling, took the 2:30pm flight back to Belize City, got a taxi back to the cruise port and got a 3:30pm tender back to the ship. Plenty of time to spare since ship docked out at 5pm. Definitely recommend this type of excursion for the adventurous and those interested in seeing the more beautiful side of Belize. Such a memorable trip.

Got off the ship to look around and do some shopping. Would not get off in this port again. No beach, nothing really interesting to see. Not worth the tender ride.

We did the zip lining and cave tubing excursion through the cruise line, and it was a great time!! Our tour leaders (Andy and Elio) were a ton of fun, and really knowledgeable. The hour ride to Jaguar Paw on a school bus wasn’t something I was looking forward to, but Andy’s commentary all the way there, made the ride go quickly. We were treated very well at the excursion site, and although I was the most excited about zip lining, the cave tubing was absolutely stunning!! Things I didn’t like about this port: 1. A LONG tender ride. 2. If we didn’t have an excursion booked, I’m not sure there would have been much to do. As an aside, Belize is a shockingly poor country, which I didn’t realize. I’m not saying that as a judgement (I realize I am completely fortunate and blessed in my life), I’m saying it so that anyone reading this review is prepared for the poverty that they will see if they leave the port area.

I’m giving 5 stars just because of the tour I booked and the nice guides we had, the ruins were impressive and there is a lot of history, really enjoy my morning, not so much the pushy souvenir sellers, even got into a couple of words with one of them forcing me to buy from him and being really rude while drunk at 11am. The city got nothing to offer, headed back to ship right after the tour.
