Belize was good. Booked King David for Lamanai Mayan Ruins tour. It was 1 hour by car then 1 hour by boat each way. Highly recommend a private tour. We beat the large ship - sponsored excursion by an hour. Had extra time to explore the amazing ruins.

Belize had a very good tourism area but when you went Into the town it was rough looking. I did enjoy the tour guide we had he explained a lot about Belize and it was nice to know We did cave tubing and lunch and it was amazing. Just some feed back waters would be nice to have for the trip back or when we got off the bus. It was very hot and really no time to stop and get something to drink to cool off with a long hot walk to the cave.

Nice people there but too much poverty. We took the cavetubing.bz excursion. Great rainforest hike , tried tasting different plants , even was offered a termite to eat. Tubing was ok through a slow flowing river. The tour was longer than those booked through the cruise line and we did not have to carry our tubes through the rainforest to the river. I probably won't visit again and if the ship stops here not so sure I would even disembark .

We went cave tubing with Butt's up. Our guide Speedy was AMAZING. Felt very safe with him and he was always pointing things out to us and made sure we learned as much as we could about Belize in the short time we were there I HIGHLY recommend Butt's up over the cruise lines cave tubing because it's cheaper and you get more authentic guides. Reason for 4 stars is because the city just isn't very safe I don't think I would go back to Belize because I feel like I've seen it all.

We arrived in Port on a Saturday. We were the first cruise ship in over a year to arrive in porch on a Saturday. By the time we finished our excursion and made it into the port, every store but one was closed. When I asked the port agent what was going on he said they completely forgot that we were coming and almost no stores opened up that day. We did the snorkeling excursion along the reef which was fantastic. The only drawback with it was that it started to get stormy towards the end of our snorkeling, and the waves got large so you were looking far away at the coral and then face in the coral every time the way it went down. Otherwise the excursion itself was fabulous

Where we had to meet the guide was creepy, looked like homeless people on the streets, had to walk to the excursion, wasn’t bad for us but if people were unable to walk that far it would have been a mess. The excursion wasn’t what I thought it was gonna be, turtles were gone mating... but we still went out and saw some amazing lemon sharks and stingrays and nurse sharks. Our guides Natalie and the young man driving the boat , they deserve 5 stars for keeping it interesting. Was on my bucket list, next time I’ll go to the other side of the island to visit.
