We took a tour to view Mt. Fuji and due to fog we did not see Mt. Fuji which is quite common.

Good views of Fuji, also a nice place to walk around, especially the seafront

weather can be a bit dodgy in Shimizu, and Mount Fuji (the reason most people come) is only visible about 30% of the time.

Sadly, we missed most of it because of the typhoon forming up down south, but we were able to enjoy their welcoming spirit. People were so kind. The time period had to be cut down because of weather. The ship never mention how bad the weather was, they kept it from us. But since this is about the port itself... yes, 5 stars.
