Let me tell you about my experience in Lautoka, Fiji. The experience was awesome. I went on the excursion titled “Fiji Natural Thermal Mud Pool”. 9:30 meet up in the theatre. Off to the site. The excursion company a t s pacific and their website is http://www.atspacific.com.fj/. I booked the excursion with RC. Paid maybe $88.00 (with discount). Got to the site after a 30-40 minute ride and got there and had a welcoming ceremony by the chiefs of the tribe. We then went to the mud pool and then to thermal pool. Took a shower (Yes a shower) and had a snack of pineapples and watermelon. There IS a changing room on this tour. The chiefs and the tribe had a closing ceremony and back to the air conditioned buses we went. We were dropped off at the Indian owned Tappoo shopping center and did some souvenir shopping and walking around. We were allowed to jump on the shuttle bus to head back to the ship. Please don’t let one bad review stop you from going on an excursion. Remember...reviews are just some one else’s opinion. Enjoy Fiji!

My favorite port. We purchased our excursion from Sykmiles Cruises for the Thermal Mudpool Tour and our guide greeting us with a name card ( TTF tour guide Suka). Suka was AWESOME!!!!! along with his driver.

Oolala cruise to a private island was one of the best excursions of the trip. Great experience, snorkeling, glass bottomed boat, crew singing. Nice amenities.

Hadn’t intended visiting Lautoka due to reading poor reviews. However, we needed to purchase a Sim Card so we caught the shuttle bus in. We enjoyed wandering around the large shopping mall, and found some nice gifts from the Pure Fiji range of coconut oil products.

We were ripped off be tour company Ara Na Yadira Tours )RED & BLACK FLAG) in Lautoka. We were told that we would have entry fees included to the Temple, Sleeping Giant Garden, Hot Spring but it was just a bus tour. Our driver and guide were unaware of what we had been promised as it was their first day working for this company. We had a list of what had been promised and got most of our money back but it spoilt part of our trip. Another friend used a company called EXOTIC TOURS at the Port and had a similar experience. Another friend did the CELEBRITY tour and had a great tour. BEWARE
