We did an excursion here, and I'm glad we were taken to the big fish market. It was so clean and the vendors were friendly.

Expensive excursion. Didn't get to take "rope-walk" because of rain/wind. Refund only $9--entire excursion was $109.

Night tram was an amazing view. Would love to have seen any attraction having to deal with Kabuki, Shinto temples, Geisha and/or sumo. These are very attractive destinations in Japan

Port - ok, school girls sang and danced farewell to the ship - enjoyable. Excursion to local market, lunch and visited Mt Hakodate but was unable to ride cable car to the top as this was cancelled due to high winds.

Hop on / off bus. Rope way is good. Walk back about 200 metres and go to local war memorial.
