Beautiful port to explore. Much visit are the Hirosaki Castle and the Nebuta festival exhibition Hall. And yes, must try their local apples. 😋 ❣️❣️❣️

Cherry blossoms were here, we done on our own and caught local train and bus to Hirosaki where there were 2,500 Cherry blossom trees, we worth the trek.

No excursion here. Surprisingly low key and quiet even in the town centre. Som3 traditional shrines within walking distance of the port.

Take the bus and short train ride to Hirosaki Castle. A great castle to visit and beautiful grounds and park to walk around. Then travel back to the ship and as you do, you will be following the float creators as they carry their floats towards Amaori for the Nebuta Festival.

We did a city highlights tour which was the best way to see as much as possible in the limited time at port.

Nice town but customs and immigration took two hours. Lost part of our day due to that.
