This was the most favorite spot for my mom and I. The tour took us to a resort right on the beach. Could have stayed there for a week. Beautiful big rock formations in the water. Great beer. Very relaxing. Great shopping. Very nice.

We did the canopying, it was fun but to short, they run out of equipment, you were rushed by the staff and sometimes had to hook up your own equipment. We still had a good time but wouldn't do it again.

We tendered into this port. It was a quieter, more relaxed port. I enjoyed sitting on the beach sipping a cervesa and having some wonderful cerviche.

This was a great port lots of fun excursions to do either through the cruise ship or on your own. And since it's Mexico, there's always Tequila to help make "wise" decisions.

One passenger had issues and had her purse stolen. Military and police everywhere.

We walked to a beach, felt very safe and thought it was a beautiful city.

Now I would go back to this city in a heart beat of all the cities this one surprised me. The environment is still low key not so over developed and fast pace. We went on a tour of the museum and that was O.K. but to hot. I love history so it was good information. The church was nice and the shopping alot the same. There were only two shops that were a must see. I found a reboso made by the indians and a awesome blouse here. What a treasure I had looked for years for this type and quaily of items, truly a rare find.

Loved it. Zihuatanejo was quaint. Ixtapa was a bit larger, but also nice.
