A very nice relaxing place unlike Cabo and Acapulco. Beaches are nice. Go visit Ixtapa as well. This is a place you'll want to come back and visit!

This is a less developed port than the sister city of Ixtapa. Many of the people living in Zihatanejo work in the report areas of Ixtapa. We toured a coconut plantation, saw authentic roofing tiles created in a very rustic old world style, and ate lunch at a beach outdoor restrauant with local dishes. Warm, friendly city.

snorkeling very enjoyable and deep sea fishing good but would have preferred to bottom fish rather than sport fish

This port was a bit underated by the cruiseline and we believed that there was little to see or do. We were very pleasantly surprised and loved this port. Snorkeling was good....

Didn't go here either. Went to Mazatlan. Had a nice shore excursion called estuaries and birdwatching.

My husband enjoyed this port the most of all four stops - liked the more "authentic Mexican village" environment.
