Review summary
While this was our first cruise, everything on the Norwegian Star exceeded our expectations. The food and the service were outstanding - the room was convenient with plenty of storage space and did not feel crowded. The housekeeping staff kept everything fresh and were constantly checking to make sure we had everything we needed. All areas of the ship were sparkling clean - the spa and hot tub areas had plenty of fresh towels at all times and were always neat and tidy. We really liked the "free style dining" that gave us lots of choices of when and where to eat each evening. The specialty restaurants were very good - the seafood at the Ginza was outstanding. We were also impressed with how easily and quickly we were able to get off the ship, clear customs and be on our way to the airport the final day of the cruise.Ship experiences
