Shore excursions in general seem to be a profit center for the cruise industry. We by ponga tickets for $3.50 and snorkel at Las Gatas beach. Lunch, drinks, ponga for a family of three, $28, shore excursion similar, $150.

Our secont time here. We went snorkeling at Ilsa Iztapa. The water was walk-in warm and the reef was beautiful.

Went surfing on our own through a local surf shop. Kids loved this! Later, went to Delfiniti which was our favorite activity on the whole trip--my daughter hopes to be a marine biologist someday.

We have not been there we loved it, the Ixtapa islad with great beaches and the best Huachinango (Red Snapper) in garlic (al mojo de ajo), go there early so you have time to visit the four beaches
