We did the Chichen Itza excursion that cost $74.99 a person. 7 hours long. 2 hours and 15 minute drive to the ruins and the same amount back. The excursion description stated 7 hours. So, 4 hours and 30 minute travel time shou have given us at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours to enjoy the excursion. We were at the ruins for approximately 45 minutes, maybe an hour. It was a waste of money and not worth $75 a person.

Everyone said, don't even bother. I found it to be an excellent experience. Yes you are bombarded with offers of massages and to purchase stuff, but the beach was beautiful that day, and lots of good food. I did get a great massage for $25 but a big tip was asked for.

Went to the salt flats and to see some flamingos. The salt flats were not as bright pink as usual because of recent heavy rains, but still worth seeing. We used Raul's Travel and had an amazing time! At the end of the tour Raul gave our kids souvenirs, and even gave us tacos his mother had made!

It was good to visit and take some photos but not really a great place to stop and hang out. I would compare it to stopping at the Freeport, Bahamas port. Not Good
