Very dirty. Did an excursion and the people and guides were great. The hotel for the beach we went to was very nice, food good and lots of drinks. Water not as pretty as Cozumel. Probably won't do a Progreso excursion again.

We did a beach club excursion that was ok. We didn't get to see any of Progreso. It was just ok.

Went to St. Bonnett's Restaurant on the beach close to the pier. Had seafood platter shrimp & fries and bucket Corona beers w/limes slices for a reasoable price right on the beach across the street from the restaurant. Good time, Good Place.

Take the bus tour, best place to shop and get back on the ship..... If you are going to the beach, book a resort otherwise spend your time shopping. Merchandise is better quality and cheaper than the more elegant touristy stops.

We didn't do an excursion, we walked to the beach. Not very clean, vendors were very pushy. We are usually quite tolerant of the vendors because we understand that is how they make a living.
