Review summary

This was my family's first cruise. I was afraid I would get sea sick as I get car sick very easily. I did not have one day of sea sickness. Our family enjoyed everything from the comdey shows to bingo, from magic shows to relaxing on our balcony. Cant wait to go again in 45 days but on the Dream this time.

Embarkation

Didn't know what do expect since this was our first cruise. Everything went smoothly. Everyone was helpful and polite.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
So many good places to eat that you really cant get to them all. My son is autistic and they had plenty of choices for him. Trust me if you end your day hungry on this boat, you didn't try hard enough.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There was always something to do.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I have to say the Magic Show was our favorite. The kids (21 and 16) went to bed early but I really wished they would have gotten to see it.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every staff or service person that we encountered where helpful, polite and kind.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Our room was cleaned nightly as we asked for. Never had any problems

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was very spacious. We had 3 adults and 1 adult sized teenage boy. We were comfortable. We are a close family so if you aren't you may want to spring for a suite. Ours worked out perfectly for us.

Ship tip

Take the time to just sit and listen to the music. You can always find a shady spot if you burn easily like myself.

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana

5 out of 5
This is my home port. We did not do an excursion here

Cozumel, Mexico

Loved the shopping area at the port. Went on a buggy excursion and it was amazing!!

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

4 out of 5
We chose to stay on the boat this day

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Everything went smoothly. You have the option of taking your own luggage off or putting your luggage outside your room the night before. We chose the second option. We did not anticipate having to wait so long for out bags. Even though it was a bit of a wait the very sweet lady trying to find our bags made it ok. She worked hard. All and all everything went pretty smoothly

Nice first family cruise vacation/escape. Going again in 45 days? Must be rich! or bored! Best wishes for a happy next cruise.
