Review summary
This shorter cruise is perfect for kids and/or novice cruisers...short enough to get the taste of a cruise, long enough to give everyone lots to do! Everything went smoothly from embarkation to debarkation. Our stateroom (2401) was much larger than I anticipated with plenty of room for all four of my family members and all of our stuff. Our room steward kept our room in tip-top shape the whole cruise, which is a feat in itself with two active kids. The food, drinks, entertainment and kids' activities were plentiful and everyone had a blast! We all loved Guy's Burger Joint and the BlueIguana Cantina as alternatives to the buffet or dining room for lunch and snacks. I hope they appear on more Carnival cruise ships soon! The ports, Cozumel and Progreso, were family friendly and a perfect escape from the dreary November weather back home. All in all, we all loved this cruise and my kids are already asking when we can go again!
