This support should not be a port of call for a cruise line any cruise line for that matter. The first site we saw out of our window was a shipping zone with creams and shipping containers. Nothing really good to look at it looks like a Third World country and everyone there and the shopping center was begging us constantly to come in to their shops it was a very uninviting uncomfortable experience.

We did an excursion to one of the beach resorts and swam and ate and played games. It was fun and relaxing and very family friendly. Would definitely do it again!

After going to Cozumel first, we were a little spoiled. The port was okay. We booked an excursion to Silcer Beach Resort. The resort itself was nice. If you book this resort, make sure you get there early. The beach area itself is small and the beach chairs will fill up early. Also be prepared for the peddlers. They are right next to the beach and have no problem bringing their products for you to look at. My friend for some reason was a particular favorite target and they kept bringing jewelry and placing it on her legs. The band at the resort was very entertaining. A little boy who was probably not older than 8 was a natural on the drums. Once back to the port, the people were very negotiable with the prices on their products.

We went to Vista Mar Beach Club to swim and relax. It was great. Nothing fancy, but nice and relaxing. Great for children to swim in. Water stays shallow for a long way out. Sandy, not rocky. Great for children. The service is great. Plan on going back.
