Went to see flamingos. So Many !! It was amazing! Boat ride through the mangroves and the little cenote was really cool. Super nice lunch at restaurant on the beach, Christine was a wonderful guide and we learned many interesting things about Yucatan and the culture here.

Just got back from Progreso and had a blast. Did the Hidden World Snorkel (cenotes)& Mayan Outback Adventure. I highly recommend this excursion. The water was comfortable even in February. I recommend bringing an under water camera and/or underwater flashlight. It will help seeing things that are deeper or away from lights. After snorkeling 3 cenotes, we were fed an authentic meal that was amazing. It was a plate with an empanada and and two different types of tostadas made from scratch on site. I have lived in Texas for 48 years and eat Tex-Mex food very often, this food was amazing. Typical alcoholic beverages were available for purchase if the you wanted something other than one of the three flavored waters that was included. I have had better Pina Coladas ($5 US). Do not forget to watch the lady in the hut making fresh tortillas. She cooks them on a rock. Very tasty.

There wasn’t a whole lot to do in this port but we did a Mayan ruin and Mexican Fietsa/Rodeo combo. I enjoyed it a whole lot more than I thought I would. The rodeo workers were skilled and entertaining and the food was superb! I like action but we are thinking about this again because it was so enjoyable.

Went to private beach with a swim up bar. Unlimited food and drinks for $30 per person. Had a great time. Free shuttle to and from as well. Done some shopping on the way back to the ship.
