Loved Progreso the excursion was well worth it

We did the VW buggy excursion- visited the Mayan Ruins, salt flats , and ended at a beach resort where we relaxed or played in the ocean for 1 1/2 hr. Lunch was $12 w/unlimited drinks $20. Great experience. We drove around alot to the different areas and seen alot of scenery including wild flamingos.

Not enough time. The visit to the Mayan pyramids takes your whole day. It's a great experience but if you've come to relax in the sun I'd save this for another time. I wish I would've enjoyed Beach activities this day instead.

This port was ok. We got off the boat and rode the bus into town to do a little shopping, kept getting haggled everywhere to buy stuff.. so we headed back to the boat. Was not very impressed
