I am presently on the foodie tour from Carnival. it was interesting and the pastry we tasted at the bakery was delicious and the cacao we tried at the museum was unique, this tour was well worth the price and time invested. our tour guide was Priscilla and she kept the information flowing and the pack laughing and was a wealth of information while on the long drive from and to the piers to Merida.

If you go to Progreso be sure to book an excursion. The pier is 6 miles long so it is a long walk to town.

It’s pretty but not as nice or clean as Cozumel. We usually do most of our shopping there!!! But this time we all got a massage at the main beach and it was very nice !!!!

We were not impressed with this port, this was a late addition due to Hurricane that year it was not on our original itinerary. We spent this day in port on the ship

Very poor. The ppl downtown hassled us wanting us to see their store (a small booth/square). We didn't stay very long. If we visit again we'll visit the salt flats.
